Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh today released the book - “Aseem Bharti Virsa Gurbat taun Khushali Da Safar”, the Punjabi version of “India Unbound” authored by Gurcharan Das, an eminent writer, columnist and a venture capitalist here.
Speaking on the occasion, Singh said Das deserved all appreciation for his commendable work in which he had portrayed a panoramic view of the last 50 years of Indian history undergoing different phases of economic and social transformation in his own lucid style.
Singh said he was confident that this brilliant work in political economy would afford an opportunity to the politicians, academicians and especially our younger generation to have first hand information how our slow pace economy transcended on a high growth trajectory.
