Delhi-based company InfoTech is planning to set shop in Mohali, adjoining Chandigarh. The facility plan to seat 1,000 employees.
Mukesh Sharma, CEO of QA InfoTech said, “In the coming five years, Chandigarh and Mohali are set to witness IT boom as various IT firms are preferring these places to set up their units.â€
“We have secured 45, 000 sq ft land in the IT Park at Chandigarh last year and have already spent Rs 1 crore on this IT Park project. Due to space constraint, we now have only 20 people here and we will be adding 20 more in June. Even in Delhi units we would be increasing the strength,†Sharma said.
“The company’s business grew at about 150 per cent in the previous fiscal and is poised to double its business turnover in the next financial year. Currently, QA InfoTech exports mainly to the USA,†Sharma said.
