The Punjab unit of BJP president Rajinder Bhandari on Friday called upon the party workers to be ready for the mid-term Lok Sabha elections as “there was no way for the UPA government at the Centre to last its full term”. “The UPA is surviving only on its Left allies”, he said addressing a rally here.
Comparing the UPA government with the previous Atal Bihari Vajpayee government, he said that there was no price rise or inflation during the previous NDA regime whereas during the present UPA government prices of atta and dal and other daily’s requirements are bringing tears to the eyes of the people.
He also quoted that how during the NDA government there was a nuclear test, but now under the UPA there is uncertainty in the nuclear deal with the USA.
Bhandari said if there were mid-term Lok Sabha polls the Congress party shall have to pay the price for price rise and nuclear deal.
