Canadian police in Chandigarh for Kanishka probe

A team of police personnel from Canada on Tuesday held talks with the top brass of Chandigarh police and CBI here in connection with the bombing of Air India flight ‘Kanishka’ in 1985.

The five-member team is on a visit to Chandigarh and Punjab to probe a few leads in connection with the incident in which 329 people on board the Toronto-Delhi Boeing 747 flight were killed.
