India’s entry to the Oscars, Rang De Basanti will be telecasted on October 2 on Star Gold.
Raykesh Om Prakash Mehra’s film which gives the message for the youth to awaken and fight for justice, has become a huge hit among youngsters, for its fresh outlook and daring scenes.
Star Gold has dedicated the film to five unsung heroes, and called it Rang De Basanti Salaam.
A special episode narrating these stories of bravery will telecast. The chosen heroes are Bant Singh from Punjab; Manjunath Shanmugam from Chennai; Palak Muchhal from Indore; Sushil Gulati from New Delhi; Anand Kumar and IPS Officer Abhayanand from Bihar .
Viewers can send in SMS to give their respect to the unsung heroes. The money collected from the SMS will be distributed equally among the five heroes.
Watch the cast of the movie salutes the unsung heros in Rang De Basanti Salaam on Monday at 12: 30 pm followed by Rang De Basanti film at 1 pm.
